Multifunctional Circuit Tester and Cable Detector is a versatile tool designed for locating wires in various applications, including buried wires, single strands, and broken wires. It is suitable for use with wires, landlines, coaxial cables, and automotive cables. Please note that this circuit tracer is not suitable for live circuits.

Technical specifications

  • Modes: CONT mode for checking shorts and opens, TONE mode for tracing cables
  • Includes RJ11 connector for testing telephone systems
  • Adjustable sensitivity dial for accurate tracing

    • Installation

  • Always turn off the power before using a power cord
  • In CONT mode, use two alligator clips for testing
  • In TONE mode, use one alligator clip for tracing

    • Usage

  • Trace cables or wires and diagnose breakpoints without damaging insulation
  • Detect intermittent circuit problems by bending a wire or connector to hear changes in pitch
  • Identify and track a group of wires by connecting a transmitter to one end and using the receiver on the other end
  • Facilitate installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telephone lines
