General description

Osmo Opaque Gloss Wood Stain in White is an extremely weather and UV resistant finish suitable for both interior and exterior wood frameworks. This stain provides a microporous, breathable finish that does not crack, peel, or flake, effectively reducing wood swelling and shrinkage while hiding the natural wood grain.

Coverage: 20m²/L with one coat

Drying time: 10-12 hours

Moisture content of wood: max. 20%

Installation

Surface preparation: Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free.

Application tools: Use Osmo Flat Brush or Microfibre Roller.

Method of application: Apply thinly and evenly along the wood grain, allowing to dry for approximately 10-12 hours before applying a second coat.

For renovation works, one coat is usually sufficient on a clean and dry surface.

Usage

Regular cleaning: Use Osmo Spray-Cleaner for damp cleaning.

Occasional maintenance: Use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel or Osmo Gard Clean for intensive cleaning and refreshing.

Recoating: Reapply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.

Other information

Note: The coating may have a slight yellowing effect in dark indoor areas due to its high oil content.

Warning: Using power washers may severely decrease the coverage of the finish, and general or multi-purpose cleaners may increase maintenance frequency.
