Description

General description

Osmo Uviwax® Non Yellowing UV Protection Oil is a unique UV-resistant oil that provides a non-yellowing finish, making it ideal for protecting wood surfaces. It is water and dirt resistant, saliva-resistant, and sweatproof, making it suitable for children's toys. The microporous, breathable finish does not crack, peel, or flake, and it allows for easy spot repairs without the need for sanding.

Drying time: approx. 3-4 hours under good ventilation

Installation

Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free.

Stir the product well before use and do not thin.

Degrease very resinous woods with Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner.

Apply the oil using an Osmo Flat Brush or a spray coating method, ensuring to apply thinly and evenly along the wood grain.

Allow to dry for approximately 3-4 hours before applying a second coat if necessary.

Usage

For renovation works, one coat applied to a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.

Regular cleaning can be done by dust mopping and damp mopping with Osmo Spray-Cleaner.

For occasional maintenance, use Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner or Osmo Maintenance Oil.

Recoating is simple; just reapply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.

Other information

It is recommended to conduct a trial application on unfamiliar surfaces.

Do not mix or dilute Uviwax® UV-Protection with other finishes.

If recoating in a different color, use Osmo Interior Wax.
