Description

General description

Polytrol is a deep penetrating oil designed to restore the original color and appearance of dull or tarnished plastics, gelcoats, metals, and other surfaces. It effectively penetrates the surface, re-wetting the pigments to revive their luster and color lost due to exposure to sunlight, rain, and pollution, while also providing corrosion protection. When applied to tarnished metals, it not only brings back the shine but also offers long-term protection against corrosion.

Compatibility and accessories

Suitable for: Plastics, gelcoats, GRP (fibreglass), tiles, painted or varnished surfaces, stone, bricks, metals

Tools: Soft brush or rag, fine wire wool for metal

Installation

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, grime, and mildew.

Remove all waxes, polishes, silicone, etc., completely.

Treat any mildew with a 50:50 bleach and water solution, scrub onto the surface, allow to stand for 10-15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Usage

Apply using a cloth or soft brush.

Ready to wipe off in just 10 minutes.

Can be used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Ideal for brightening faded car bumpers, reviving gelcoat on boats, restoring shine to metal fixtures, rejuvenating flat or chalky paint, and brightening surfaces of tiles in stone, terracotta, marble, slate, etc.

Not suitable for use on white surfaces.

I am impressed by this product, applied to plastic shutters, previously washed before, with a brush, waited 30 minutes and wiped off the excess, waited 48 hours so that they dry well and put back in place. These have become bright and colorful again. To see in time .... Applied on garage doors, they have regained their original color. My companion applied it to his boat hull and he is delighted. We will see over time how it will behave.

This product is just a killer, I tested it on my bumpers of my old Twingo, completely passed, it's very good and very good result. Do not use on window joints, as it leaves black marks. Does not work on smooth plastics Also used on my motorcycle, works great, on saddlebag plastics, it is like new. Also used on tires, it works too. I highly recommend
