The support is very light, with a sort of thick felt with small non-slip plastic dots that are not very sturdy. I thought it would be a weighted mat with vinyl at the base, like the real doormats you can find in stores. Not even ! It's not worth the price, unfortunately! Result: I keep it because I like the pattern, but this rug will stay inside my entrance.
