This Ronseal 10 Year Weatherproof Wood Paint in Royal Blue Gloss provides exceptional protection for exterior wood surfaces for up to 10 years. It eliminates the need for a primer, allowing for quick application and long-lasting results. The paint is guaranteed not to crack, peel, or blister, ensuring your wood maintains its fresh appearance for years.

Dry time: Touch dry in 1 hour; can be recoated after 4 hours

Compatibility and accessories

Suitable for outdoor wood surfaces such as fences, gates, and furniture

Not recommended for rough sawn fences and sheds; use appropriate fence and shed paints instead

Installation

Prepare the surface by sanding lightly with 120 or 240 grit sandpaper depending on the condition of the existing paint

Clean the surface with white spirit and remove dust

Fill holes and cracks with wood filler and apply knot blocker if needed

Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure even color

Usage

Apply with a synthetic brush, following the direction of the wood grain

Allow the first coat to dry for four hours before applying a second coat

If painting bare wood, a third coat may be necessary for full coverage

The final coat becomes weatherproof within one hour

The paint is extremely thin and a black colour in the tin. After stirring the paint which should be grey in colour and applying it to two doors, one turned out grey and one black, so I do not recommend it.

This product is excellent. I bought this paint previously to paint wooden post round the front garden. It looks great even after 2 years now. So I bought this again to paint the wooden planter. Recommend this product.

I love this paint and have had several pots from Mano Mano. This is a good company, delivery as stated. This time, my first pot was damaged in transit and paint leaked out. Mano Mano kindly sent another but the same happened again. Despite thorough packaging, the courier clearly throws these things around and the lid is dislodged. Not Mano Mano's fault but still frustrating.
