Installation

• Prepare the surface by lightly sanding with 120 or 240 grit sandpaper depending on the condition of the existing paint or wood
• Clean the surface with white spirit to remove dust and debris
• Fill holes or cracks with wood filler and use knot blocker to prevent knots from showing through
• Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure even color

Usage

• Apply the paint in the direction of the woodgrain using a synthetic brush
• Apply two coats on previously painted wood; three coats may be needed on bare wood to achieve full coverage
• Allow four hours between coats
• Finish with a final coat to ensure weatherproofing, which takes about one hour to be effective

Other Information

• Cleaning: Use warm, soapy water or a diluted all-purpose cleaner for brushes and tools after use
• Repair: Lightly sand damaged areas and reapply paint as needed for touch-ups
