Description

Liberon Palette Wood Dye in Ebony is a water-based interior dye that colours bare wood while keeping the natural grain visible. Suitable for both softwoods and hardwoods, it’s designed for use before oil, wax, varnish or French polish finishes and is EN 71 Part 3 approved for toy safety. Ideal for furniture, floors, doors and frames, a 250 ml bottle covers approximately 2–4 m². Apply with a foam applicator or brush, allow a minimum of 2 hours drying time, and clean tools with water.

Water-based formula for interior wood.

Leaves natural wood grain visible.

Suitable for both hardwoods and softwoods.

EN 71 Part 3 approved — safe for toys.

Covers approximately 2–4 m² per 250 ml bottle.

Endorsed by the Guild of Master Craftsmen.

Libéron is a French brand of V33, the leading manufacturer of paints and stains mainly for wood. The group owns the V33, Cecil, Diamantine, Libéron and Plastor brands. It was founded in 1953 in Domblans (Jura). In the 15th century, the royal abbey of Saint-Antoine des Champs obtained a privilege exempting craftsmen from paying taxes when they set up shop on its land. The Seine also provided cabinetmakers in particular with access to their raw materials. Georges Libéron made a name for himself at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900 with his antiseptic and parasiticide polish. One of its variations was the famous Oké paste. In 1990, V33 acquired the Libéron group, which specialised in cabinetmaking products and was the French leader in its field, having invented the legendary Black Bison wax, a decorative product for all surfaces. V33 and Libéron are very committed to protecting the environment: 50% of production is solvent-free, glycol ethers have been eliminated, and great care is taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
