Panama 1 Drawer Bookcase Solid Pine Shelving Storage Unit

I found the instructions quite unclear at the beginning, and the scale was a bit off. I am not really used to assembling furniture so I thought there were meant to be holes for each screw, but there are actually very few on the other side, so you have to screw directly onto the wood! But once you know this it is fairly easy, and it looks quite good. I wouldn’t say it is very sturdy, but it is correct

Unit is very nice and feels robust. Assembly was straightforward. Shelves are partially adjustable, but only the bottom shelf is large enough for my tall books.

Solid wood, nothing missing, easy for a novice like me to assemble. I have bought 2 and now I want another!

good cheap furniture. looks ok, quality is variable on the manufacturing, ive had perfect ones and terribad items of furniture from the same series. ie my book shelf was great but my Panama coffetable looked liked it had been drilled by a small chimpanzee with poor eye/hand co-ordinnation who had just recieved very distracting news/banannas. Assembly is ok if you know what you are doing and can improvise if wood splits, knots are in the way or holes are poorly drilled. Instructions are ok if you take your time and break it down rather than try to absorb it all in one. (TBH once you put together one or two different peices from the range you start to "get" how their directions work and the logic behind them) All in all its standard flatpack pine furniture a step or two lower quality than Ikea. Not bad, not great but acceptable if one gets it from a cheaper wholesaler as prices can vary wildly. Im happy with mine but I dont expect it will be a family piece that will be handed down from generation to generation, I can see it being in the local skip/bonfire/Charity shop in a few years.
