Instructions for Grafting:
After selecting a good scion and cutting it (wipe the grafting knife with alcohol) for a snug fit to the rootstock (the canbium layer should be well contacted), tie with nursery tape or rubber.
Apply this grafting tape to the grafting area, overlap 3-4 times.
Cover the grafting area with a transparent plastic bag. If there is direct sunlight on the grafting area, use a lunch bag brown paper to cover it for protection.
After 3 weeks, if the scion still looks quite greenish, chances are you will see the new bud coming out of the scion in 4 to 8 weeks depending on the temperature.
