• KH treatment solution: Aqua KH+ in the form of granules helps increase the overall water carbonate hardness; it is based on mineral salts and trace elements to stabilize the pH by reducing the harmful effect of many toxic substances (e.g. heavy metals) in the water.
• Balanced pond water: The ideal KH value is between 5°dKH and 8°dKH; below 4°dKH the pH value fluctuates and poses a risk to the health of the fish; above 8°dKH, water responds alkalinely.
• Combats low KH values: Too low a value of the KH is detrimental to the filtration of the pond water and the development of plants and fish with a risk of pH instability; the supply of bacteria and minerals (calcium, magnesium) for the fish might be disrupted.
