Description
General descriptionBall valves utilize a spherical disc to regulate the flow of water and other liquids between pipes, tubes, or hoses. When the hole in the spherical washer aligns with the inlet and outlet of the valve, flow is permitted. Conversely, rotating the ball 90 degrees horizontally blocks the flow, as the ball hole becomes perpendicular to the valve port.
