Hanging Chair CASOLI PE Rattan Grey

The item was exactly what we expected. Easy and simple assembly.

It deserves 5 stars on looks but is let down by its process of handling.The chair is beautiful, modern & sleek design, you can see it’s of Italian European origin unlike the generic pod chairs on offer in the UK! The basket is a great colour pale grey/beige tones & the cushion is substantial not flimsy like some I have seen & is very comfortable. My disappointment was when it was delivered, for the cost of several hundred of pounds I paid for the product, it arrived each metal item wrapped individually in cling film the outside of the basket wrapped in a hessian fabric but the hollow in the middle where the cushion was placed in polythene & strapped to the basket, had no wrapping at all & totally open to the elements. It looked horrific, no excitement if your expecting it boxed, how it arrived gave the appearance I purchased it on EBay second hand. I was upset due to the expense of it, my husband wasn’t impressed this item had travelled through Europe with no outer box or packaging at all for the amount I had paid. The driver acknowledged I couldn’t have a damage report filled out & no signature required due to covid19 restrictions, but he would note down himself the visible damage. There were tears in the wrapping, the base ring was scuffed although luckily underneath & out of sight. It smelt so we left it a few days before building as I couldn’t face the fact it looked so dreadful & expected it to be damaged/marked so my enthusiasm was diminished for the chair. It has marks to the metal of the stand where the wrapping had been torn, but by miracle the basket is mostly ok. To package & return properly seemed to much of a mission due to its size & having had no packaging in the first place we would have to purchase some ourselves to return it. It’s such a shame it arrived this way as it’s such a stunning chair & I would of recommended it if people compliment the chair, but not for them to have the disappointment we had when it arrived. It looked so shabby. It wasn’t cheap, it’s not acceptable it arrived with no boxing or protection. It is a beautiful chair & expensive, please give it the appropriate packaging it deserves, for it to be sent in transit to other countries.
