Description

General description

With the Relaxdays Hedgehog House, you can provide these shy, spiny creatures with a safe and comfortable home for the winter. This hedgehog house features a cat-proof labyrinth entrance, ensuring optimal protection from predators. The sloped roof, made with weatherproof bitumen roofing felt, allows rainwater to drain away easily, keeping the nest dry. Additionally, the raised floor enhances comfort for hibernating hedgehogs by insulating them from moisture and cold.

Technical specifications

Dimensions (H x W x D): approx. 25 x 57 x 44 cm

Entrance dimensions (H x W): approx. 11 x 13 cm

Usage

Set up the hedgehog house in early autumn in a dry, sheltered, shady spot.

Position the entrance facing away from prevailing weather.

Cover the house with leaves and brushwood to protect it from other animals.

Leave leaves nearby as natural nesting material.

Do not disturb the hedgehogs once they have moved in.
