Installation

• Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free from old varnish or stain by sanding with 120 grit sandpaper and cleaning with white spirit
• Stir the varnish thoroughly before use
• Test on a small area to check color change
• Apply with a brush, following the grain of the wood
• Apply 2 to 3 coats, allowing at least 8 hours between coats
• Lightly sand between coats for a smooth finish

Usage

• Apply to clean, dry wood surfaces in suitable weather conditions (above 10°C and dry)
• Use a brush to apply the varnish evenly, following the wood grain
• Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next
• For best results, lightly sand the surface before the final coat

Other Information

• Once dry, the varnish can be cleaned with white spirit or brush cleaner
• Damaged areas can be repaired by sanding and reapplying additional coats
