Description

• Yacht Varnish is a high-quality, solvent-based exterior varnish designed to protect outdoor wood surfaces such as windows and doors. Installation

• Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free of old varnish or stain by sanding with 120 grit sandpaper and cleaning with white spirit.
• Stir the varnish thoroughly before use to ensure a smooth consistency.
• Test on a small area to check color change, as it may darken the wood slightly.
• Apply with a brush, following the grain of the wood, in two or three coats for best results. Allow 8 hours between coats.
• Before the final coat, lightly sand the surface and remove dust with white spirit for a smooth finish.

Utilisation

• Apply in a well-ventilated area on dry, warm days (above 10°C).
• Use a brush to apply the varnish evenly, following the wood grain.
• Apply multiple coats for optimal protection, waiting at least 8 hours between coats.
• Allow the final coat to dry for about 4 hours before exposing the surface to weather.
• For repairs, sand damaged areas and reapply coats as needed to restore the finish.
