Does the job well but not as easily as the instructions suggest. It states brush on, leave for 30 minutes and then scrub off with water. I used it to renovate my hardwood garden furniture to remove 3 layers of yacht varnish and the most effective way is to use stainless steel wire wool and water (and 'elbow grease'). If using to take off paint, I think the task is easier. Having said that, my large table now revarnished looks terrific so it does do what it says on the tin.

It took two tins and two sessions to strip the old accumulated finishes off my smallish garden gate. Took lots of elbow grease too. Scrubbng off the stripper and finish as directed on the tin didn't work so had to resort to scraping. However ..... i am super pleased with the end result. A lovely teak gate, and once treated with two coats of Sikkens is looking lovely. The hard work was worth it!!
