General description

Ronseal Interior Varnish is a quick-drying varnish that provides Diamond Hard protection for wooden surfaces. It offers superior resistance against heat, scratches, and water, ensuring a long-lasting and beautiful finish. This varnish is available in various finishes including Satin, Gloss, and Matt, and is suitable for both bare and previously varnished wood.

Installation

Prepare the surface by cleaning with a cloth and white spirit to remove grease and dirt.

Sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth out rough patches and remove old coatings.

Wipe away dust with a damp cloth and allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Stir the varnish well before use.

Test on a hidden area to check color and finish.

Apply evenly with a brush or roller in the direction of the wood grain.

Allow 1 hour to dry between coats; apply 2-3 coats for optimal protection.

Sand lightly and wipe dust before applying the final coat for a smooth finish.

Usage

Apply in a well-ventilated area, preferably in warm conditions.

Wear a mask when sanding to avoid inhaling dust.

Clean brushes and tools with appropriate solvents after use.

Once dry, the surface can be cleaned normally.

For repairs, sand the affected area and reapply coats as needed.
