General description

The Ronseal Interior Varnish Quick Dry Satin in Ebony (750ml) is a quick-drying varnish that offers Diamond Hard protection. It provides superior durability against heat, scratches, and water, ensuring a beautiful, fade-resistant finish for all interior wood surfaces.

Installation

Prepare the wood surface by wiping with a cloth and white spirit to remove grease and dirt.

Sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth out rough patches and remove old coatings.

Clean off dust with a damp cloth and allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Stir the varnish well before use.

Apply an even coat in the direction of the wood grain using a brush or roller.

Allow 1 hour to dry between coats; apply 2-3 coats for optimal protection.

Sand lightly and wipe dust before applying the final coat for a smooth finish.

Usage

Test the varnish on a hidden area to check the color and finish.

Apply in a well-ventilated room, preferably with open windows or doors.

Use a brush or roller to apply the varnish evenly in the direction of the grain.

Allow sufficient drying time between coats.

Once fully dry, the surface can be cleaned and maintained normally.
