Ronseal One Coat Cupboard Paint is designed to transform your kitchen cupboards, doors, and wooden furniture with just one coat. Its water-based formula eliminates the need for a primer, making application quick and easy. This durable paint is resistant to knocks, scuffs, and spills, ensuring long-lasting results. It dries to the touch in just 1 hour and offers coverage of up to 8m² per litre.

Installation

Ensure the room temperature is above 10°C and ventilate the area.

Cover any surfaces you don’t want to paint.

For cupboard doors or drawers, remove them and lay flat for easier painting.

If the wood is in good condition, lightly sand with 240-grit sandpaper to help the paint adhere.

If the paint is flaking or cracked, sand back to bare wood using 120-grit sandpaper, following the wood grain.

Vacuum any dust and wipe down with a damp cloth.

Fill any holes or cracks with Multi Purpose or High Performance Wood Filler.

Usage

Stir the paint thoroughly before use.

Apply with a synthetic brush or foam roller in the direction of the wood grain.

For bold colours, a second coat may be necessary; allow the first coat to dry for 4 hours, lightly sand, and wipe with a damp cloth before applying the second coat.

After painting, clean brushes and rollers in warm soapy water.

Do not dispose of leftover paint in drains; check local disposal guidelines.

Protect from frost and avoid abrasive cleaners to maintain the finish.
