Ronseal One Coat Water Based Tile Paint is designed to transform your old tiles with just one coat, eliminating the need for a primer. This durable paint is resistant to knocks, scuffs, spills, and moisture, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. It is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring your tiles look fresh for a long time.

Technical specifications

Usage: For interior kitchen tiles & generic wall tiles (including porcelain, ceramic & glass)

Coverage: 8m² per litre

Dry time: Touch dry in 1 hour

Coat time: If required, overcoat in 4 hours

Number of coats: 1 coat (a second coat may be required if painting onto extremely porous substrates)

Installation

Ensure the room temperature is above 10°C and ventilate the area.

Cover surfaces you don’t want to paint.

Clean grout with a grout cleaner and repair any damaged grout before painting.

Thoroughly clean tiles to remove dust, dirt, and grease, then wipe with a damp cloth.

Stir the paint well before application.

Apply with a synthetic brush, painting up and down on each tile for the best finish.

Usage

Touch dry in 1 hour; avoid wetting for the next 24 hours.

If painting over a bold color, a second coat may be necessary; allow the first coat to dry for 4 hours, lightly sand with 240-grit sandpaper, and wipe with a damp cloth before applying the second coat.

Other information

Aftercare: Remove excess paint from brushes or rollers and wash them in warm soapy water.

Do not dispose of leftover paint in drains or watercourses; check local regulations for disposal methods.

Protect from frost.

Maintenance: Avoid abrasive cleaners; clean with soapy water.

Do not expose tiles to water or high humidity for at least 24 hours after painting.
