Ronseal Ultra Tough Hardglaze is an ultra-tough clear polyurethane varnish that delivers a rich, mellow gloss finish ideal for use over wood dyes. It provides heat-, water- and scratch-resistant protection against knocks and most household chemicals, keeping interior wood surfaces looking good for longer. Suitable for bare or previously treated wood, it is perfect for furniture and trim including doors, shelving, skirting boards, cork, hardboard and chipboard. Apply by brush; touch dry in 2-4 hours and covers approximately 24 square metres per litre. Available in a 2.5 Litre clear gloss finish.

if you are looking for a hard lasting varnish this is the one you need. I sanded down my work top and applied several coats of this varnish, you have to be patient and let the varnish dry before applying a 2nd coat. It is well worth the wait this is the 4th tin I have bought. love it.
Am very happy with this Non drip hope it says white for years
This is a standard product, but quite difficult to find in local DIY stores, hence the need to order online.
