General description

Oxid Vernis is a single pack clear varnish enriched with polyurethane-modified alkyd resins, designed for use on new or oxidized metals previously treated with Owatrol Oil. It maintains the natural look of the surface while providing long-lasting protection. This varnish combines performance with ease of application, offering high UV resistance and suitability for harsh climates. It is ideal for both interior and exterior metals, including gates, furniture, fences, and ornaments, and can be applied on horizontal or vertical surfaces.

Technical specifications

Coverage: 18 m² per litre per coat

Drying Time: Touch dry in 5 hours, Recoat in 24 hours, Fully dry in 24 hours (depending on temperature and humidity)

Application Temperature: Between 5˚C and 35˚C

Usage

Oxid Vernis is perfect for decorating, protecting, and weatherproofing surfaces. It is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals and is particularly effective in highly humid interior environments. The varnish expands and contracts with the structure, preventing peeling. For cleaning, the surface should be regularly maintained with a brush, vacuum cleaner, or fresh water. Avoid using aggressive chemical cleaners.

Other information

For the first 14 days, do not clean Oxid Vernis with water. Ensure the room is well ventilated when using indoors. Cover areas you do not wish to paint and avoid application in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
