Rustins Quick Dry Red Oxide Primer is designed for use on all bare metal surfaces, both interior and exterior. This primer is formulated with acrylic and special anti-corrosive pigments to effectively prevent corrosion.

    • Installation

  • Stir well before use.
  • Apply using a quality brush.
  • Must be over painted with an undercoat before applying a top coat.

    • Usage

  • One coat is normally sufficient, but a second coat may be applied if required.
  • The surface may be cleaned with a mild detergent solution or white spirit as necessary.
  • Dry time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
  • Recoat time is approximately 4 hours.
