Recommended to finish with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (available in Clear or Dark) or Furniture Lacquer

Usage

For a distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours and sand or scour when dry

Clear Finishing Wax protects the paint finish and provides a water-repellent seal against stains and marks

Dark Finishing Wax gives an antiqued, distressed finish

Lacquer provides a hard-wearing protective finish, enhancing and sealing the paint work

Carefully applied to a wooden door and covered with the recommended Rust Oleum wax finish. Frankly, it looks like a coat of emulsion. This was an expensive disappointment.
