It is available in a wonderful selection of shades, allowing you to customize your furniture to your liking.

Can be used directly on wood (bare or painted), brick, stone, plaster, or any suitably primed rigid surface (metal, plastic, etc.)

Recommended to finish with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (available in Clear or Dark) or Furniture Lacquer

Usage

For a distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours and sand or scour when dry

Clear Finishing Wax protects the paint finish, making it water-repellent and sealing against stains and marks

Dark Finishing Wax provides an antiquing effect for a distressed, aged finish

Lacquer offers a hard-wearing protective finish, enhancing and sealing the paint work against knocks and scratches

Other information

When purchased with wax, the wax comes in a 400ml tin and lacquer in a 750ml tin

Paint colours may vary from screen to screen; it is advised to consult a paint colour chart for accurate colour verification

Carefully applied to a wooden door and covered with the recommended Rust Oleum wax finish. Frankly, it looks like a coat of emulsion. This was an expensive disappointment.
