Renovate and transform furniture with Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint. This paint features a classic, smooth touch and a flat matt finish, bringing new life to tired, worn-out objects. Available in a wonderful choice of shades, it can be finished with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (available in Clear or Dark) or Furniture Lacquer for added protection and enhancement.

Can be used directly on wood (bare or painted), brick, stone, plaster, or any suitably primed rigid surface (metal, plastic, etc.)

Compatible with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (Clear or Dark) and Rust-Oleum Furniture Lacquer

Installation

No priming or sanding necessary on most surfaces (ensure surfaces are smooth, dry, and free from contaminants)

For a distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours and sand/scour when dry

Usage

Easy to apply by brush or rag

Clear Wax provides a water-repellent finish and seals against stains and marks

Dark Wax gives a distressed, aged finish when used over the paint

Lacquer offers a hard-wearing protective finish, sealing paint work from knocks and scratches

Carefully applied to a wooden door and covered with the recommended Rust Oleum wax finish. Frankly, it looks like a coat of emulsion. This was an expensive disappointment.
