It is available in a wonderful range of shades, allowing you to customize your furniture. For added protection and enhancement, finish with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax (available in Clear or Dark) or Furniture Lacquer.

Installation

No priming or sanding necessary on most surfaces (ensure surfaces are smooth, dry, and free from contaminants)

For a distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours and sand/scour when dry

Usage

Apply with a brush or rag

Clear Wax provides a water-repellent finish and seals against stains and marks

Dark Wax gives a distressed, aged finish

Lacquer offers a hard-wearing protective finish against knocks and scratches

Carefully applied to a wooden door and covered with the recommended Rust Oleum wax finish. Frankly, it looks like a coat of emulsion. This was an expensive disappointment.
