Rustins Original Danish Oil is a low-lustre, easy-to-apply finish suitable for all types of wood. It penetrates deeply into timber, providing a durable, water-resistant seal without forming a thick film. This oil enhances the natural beauty of the wood, highlighting its grain and giving a soft, open-grained finish. It is ideal for interior and exterior wooden surfaces such as doors, furniture, window frames, cladding, and turned woodwork. The oil dries quickly, typically within 4 to 6 hours, and does not attract dust like linseed oil. It is simple to use—apply liberally with a cloth or brush, wipe off excess, and repeat as needed. No special skill is required for application.
