Description

General description

Osmo Top Oil is a microporous natural hardwax-oil wood finish that is extremely tough and hardwearing. It is designed to be water repellent and dirt resistant, effectively protecting wood surfaces from common liquid spillages such as wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk, and water. These liquids bead on the surface without leaving marks, allowing for easy cleaning with a cloth.

It was very easy to apply to the wooden shelves. I only needed a small amount so it was convenient that it was possible to buy a small tin. I didn't buy the brush cleaner as it was such a small job and so ruined the brush I was using but continued by applying oil successfully with a lint free cloth.

Gives a really nice natural finish. A lot of worktops we had seen give an orangey look but this oil keeps the wood's natural colouring. Easy to apply and not too smelly!
