Customer reviews
I live in a log cabin and every 5 years it requires painting. I would not use anytning other than Sadolin wood stain, it is excellent. I had never used Mano Mano before however their price, packaging and delivery was also excellent. Thank you.
Great result
Having just built a summerhouse, I needed a product to protect it from the elements so I chose Sadolin Classic - Natural. What a mistake! I chose natural because I thought (wrongly) that it would not be too noticeable a stain and would not mask the natural beauty of the wood. To be honest, as soon as I opened the tin I should have binned it as it looked like gravy. From the first brush stroke, my heart sank. But it was too late and I continued. The second problem is trying to apply this stuff evenly. I am no expert painter but I've used a lot of paints and wood care products in my time and this one I found almost impossible to get an even coverage. The can instructions say brush over after 5-10 minutes going with the grain. Well good luck with that. I am still trying to work out what 'Classic" means? And what on earth is natural about the colour To be fair to the product, it may be excellent at protecting the wood (only time will tell). So it conclusion, I found this to be a horrible colour (part of my new summerhouse now looks like it's been covered in diarrhoea) and very difficult to apply.
Does what it says on tin. easy to apply and good product for wood protection.
Easy to apply, nice finish.
