Velvet fabric may appear different under various lighting conditions; it shimmers in daylight and looks toned down in artificial light.

To maintain the velvet, stroke the material in one direction to even out color and remove creases, and clean with dry upholstery shampoo or a mild cleaner.

Other information

To avoid scratches on metal parts, do not use abrasive cleaners; for copper or chrome elements, use a polishing agent.
