This product seems to be of good quality. I have not yet tried with the maximum allowable extension, I am still a little afraid that it will flex depending on the force exerted. Too bad that the base of the support part on the screw side is not wider to fix the clamp, however, with a piece of wood cut to 6 mm (the thickness of the steel blade) and with adjustable between axes, we manages to hold the 2 pieces together.

Of course they do not hold on their base, no worries about that, because it is easy to create feet, otherwise as I tighten from the top no problem for me.
