General description

Comprehensive drain rod set with a full range of accessories for general purpose domestic drain clearing. Constructed with universal joints and crimped riveted end connections for reliability and durability. The double worm screw end breaks up obstructions while the plunger creates a build-up of pressure to force obstructions to clear. Flexible and easy to screw together, the polypropylene rods are available in a set of 10 rods and an extension pack of 4 rods.

These rods at a very affordable price allowed me (thanks to their small radius of curvature, see the presentation photo) to sweep a chimney in concrete bushels from the bottom hatch so without having to climb on the roof. But beware, the kit does not contain a hedgehog and the thread of the rods is much too big to mount a standard hedgehog thread diameter 12mm not 125; you have to make an adapter. And the double spiral tip is rather to unclog a pipe than to sweep.

Polypropylene tends to turn around the screwdriver bits of the coup it is very difficult to sweep by turning the hedgehog effectively.
