Regarding the bookcase, it is solid and stable even if you do not fix it to the wall. My 2 year old niece can access the books on the top floor. Easy assembly. Very good and inexpensive

Unfortunately, the product isn't good quality. The finishing of the pieces really leaves something to be desired. Half of the stickers used to decorate the bookcase come off!
