This floating duck nesting box features an octagonal float, house, and roof, with eight segregated nesting bays, making it suitable for ducks such as mallards and other domestic ducks. It includes landing platforms to assist ducks in accessing the floating platform and tethering eyes for attaching rope.

Usage

Suitable for wild ducks, providing nesting and a safe night roost.

Recommended to clean out the house once a year in early autumn after nesting.

The roof and internal wall dividers are removable to aid cleaning.

Other information

Timbers are pressure treated prior to building for protection against rot.

It is recommended to treat the housing at least once yearly with a water repellent, animal-safe timber treating overcoat to reduce moisture uptake and prevent timber decay.
