I received what I ordered but the Spit which does not fit on my Spit due to the XT3 standard I suppose? Not done the xth research to see what this standard corresponds to! The little information on the sites requires a significant amount of time for the buyer, instead of a simple sentence: corresponds to the Spit proprietary standard or compatible with the XT3 standards generally observed for brands, etc. With a link for info or the same for Spit devices!

SPIT (or Société de prospection et d'inventions techniques) was founded in 1951 in the Drôme region. Its head office is in Bourg-lès-Valence, near Valence. The company was founded by an engineer from the Manufacture Générale des Munitions, who had the idea of revolutionizing power tools by combining gunpowder with a nailer. SPIT was an immediate success. Today, SPIT is a French manufacturer specializing in fastening solutions for building professionals. It has three production units in the Drôme region and an R&D department that registers 100 patents a year and develops 10 new products. SPIT employs 570 people in France and generates annual sales of around 200 million euros; it manufactures over 95% of its products in Europe, 70% of which in France. Since 1986, SPIT has been one of the brands of the ITW (Illinois Tool Works) group, which was founded in 1921 in Chicago by inventors and specializes in industrial equipment. In 1993, SPIT invented its famous orange gas nailer, which would remain a world exclusive for 10 years, giving its customers a head start. Historically focused on building professionals and cavers, SPIT has also designed specific products for homeowners, with its products for sealing (chemical, metal-plastic plugs, self-drilling), nailing, screwing and perforating. SPIT also manufactures lasers.
