This is my second one, first still in use. Only smaller birds can use the perches to feed, which is what I wanted, no squirrels, and this is the only feeder I've ever had that takes apart fully for total cleaning

The one I bought a year ago was flawed as the tabs holding the main body to the lid were not long enough allowing squirrels to simply jump on to detach it. This version has longer tabs holding it more firmly in place....unless I have just by chance obtained one with longer tabs. You still have to hang it on long wires well away from branches that squirrels can use to jump.on it and access the food via the feed holes.

This seems like a sturdy bird feeder. The spaces are very small so the birds seem reluctant to go into it to feed but I'm hoping they'll get used to it. It looks squirrel resistant so that is a positive.
