Installation

Usage

Ensure the motorcycle is in neutral before testing or removing the old solenoid.

Test the old solenoid by applying 12 volts to the two wires inside the plastic connector; note that the solenoid is polarity sensitive.

If the starter cranks with the correct polarity, the solenoid, battery, and starter are all functioning properly.

If the solenoid clicks but the starter does not engage, the solenoid is still good.
