The design of the chairs is lovely and the finish of the upholstery is good , although there are some trailing threads which have to be trimmed. The biggest issue is with constructing the legs and support bar. The screws issued (not the right number, by the way, I had to supplement with my own) stripped the thread when I tried to put the support bar in. The legs themselves went in fine into the base of the seat, but it was the holes half way down the legs which were not quite right and caused difficulty. The construction took me ages because it was so awkward (and I am something of a flat pack aficionado). Considering the cost of the chairs and the extra import tax that I had to pay, the level of my own time and effort that needed to be put in was very disappointing.
