Intex is an American company based in California. It was founded in 1964 in Los Angeles. Intex enjoyed rapid success from the outset, becoming the international leader in low-cost inflatable pools. Today, the company is present in over 100 countries and employs around 14,000 people. Specialising in above-ground pools (self-standing or tubular, sold in fully-equipped kits), it also designs maintenance accessories such as skimmers, safety ladders, filter cartridges, salt sterilisers and cartridge purifiers.
