Talus Bold - Polished Brass Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Angled 15mm

Smarter room comfort from a thermostatic valve set

Designed to combine individual radiator control with a coordinated finish, this Polished Brass Talus Bold thermostatic valve set includes both the TRV and matching lockshield. Its angled layout suits the relevant pipe route, and the liquid sensing mechanism adjusts the valve as surrounding temperature changes.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Manage radiator warmth around how the room is used: Instead of leaving the radiator fully open, the TRV adjusts the flow of hot water as the surrounding room temperature changes.
• Use less unnecessary heat in rooms that are already warm: Once the room needs less heat, the TRV can reduce flow through that radiator, helping make more efficient use of the hot water being circulated.
• Give the heating system extra protection from freezing conditions: Its frost-protection function can allow some flow at very low temperatures, helping reduce the risk of water freezing in the radiator and nearby pipework.
• Finish both sides of the radiator with one set: The set includes the TRV and matching lockshield together, giving you both radiator valves in one coordinated purchase.
• Plan the radiator connection with the right valve shape: Where pipework approaches a side-entry radiator from the floor, an angled valve provides the change in direction needed at the connection.
• Choose a heating level that suits the space: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
• Let the thermostatic mechanism respond without constant adjustment: A liquid-filled sensor reacts as the room warms and cools, helping the valve adjust without constant manual intervention.
• Give the radiator a more considered finishing detail: Its modern profile gives the radiator connection a neater, more streamlined finishing detail. The polished & lacquered Polished Brass finish helps coordinate the valves with the radiator and nearby fittings.
• Choose with added confidence beyond installation: The 5 years guarantee provides added reassurance for a product intended to remain part of the heating installation for years to come.
