Description
Forgefix TechFast roofing screws 5.5 x 60mm are engineered to secure timber to light-section steel purlins. The Torx countersunk head sits flush while the self-drilling point speeds installation into 1.5mm to 4mm steel without pre-drilling. Special wings form a clearance hole in the timber to prevent jacking, and the partially threaded compression-control design ensures a strong timber-to-steel clamp. Made from steel with zinc plating and an Elementech anti-corrosion finish (salt spray tested to 1,000 hours). Supplied in a pack of 100 with a free Torx bit.
