General description

Thompson's Water Seal utilises hydrophobic technology to deliver invisible protection against water damage. The penetrating formulation travels deep into exterior dry porous surfaces to form a breathable membrane, allowing moisture vapour inside the substrate to evaporate while protecting against water penetration and damage. Unlike some waterproofers, Thompson's Water Seal penetrates the surface, ensuring waterproofing even after the initial beading is gone. It is resistant to ultraviolet light and remains effective even under heavy moisture conditions, providing long-lasting water repellency for years when application instructions and coverage guidelines are followed. Additionally, it helps prevent damage caused by freezing and thawing.

Installation

Preparation: Scrub the surface with a stiff bristle brush.

Fill any cracks and perform pointing repairs if needed.

Application: Shake the tin well.

Apply using a brush or roller.

For walls, work in 1m sections from the bottom upwards.

Once an area is fully saturated, move to the next section.

Ensure to soak mortar lines as well.

Treat the entire wall, not just isolated areas.

After the first coat has soaked in, proceed with the second coat.

Usage

Apply directly onto damp surfaces for long-lasting waterproof protection within hours.

For exterior use only.

Easy to mix and to apply. The setting time is very quick so it can be sanded to a finish within a very short period of time.
