These TIMCO Self-Drilling Wing-Tip Steel to Timber Heavy Section A2 Stainless Steel Bi-Metal Screws are specifically designed for attaching wood to metal, with a maximum thickness of 12mm. The innovative wing design allows for efficient reaming of timber, enabling the screw to achieve maximum revolutions per minute (R.P.M.) without overheating. Once the wings contact the metal, they break off, allowing the screw to self-tap effectively.
