This U-Bolt is specifically designed for 40 NB (48.3 OD) pipes and is made from galvanised steel. Its unique convex base minimizes crevice corrosion by allowing water to roll away from the pipe, preventing it from standing in pools of water. The U-bolt can be configured for either grip or non-grip applications based on the arrangement of the nuts.
