Installation

Note that some splits and cracks may appear in the wood due to natural weather changes, but this is normal for wooden products. The pressure treatment process protects against rot for up to 15 years, and the wood will naturally weather over time, turning an attractive silvery grey. For maintenance, it is recommended to apply a furniture oil or linseed oil-based product annually to replenish and moisturize the wood. The timber can also be painted or stained using most softwood paints.
