The chaires are too high for a kitchen island? We had to shorten the legs, or ours wouldn't fit, even though our kitchen island is of standard height! We also ordered 4 chairs and one of the screw threads was broken? In the end, once shortened to a more appropriate height, the result is amazing in my kitchen, but am I really satisfied?

The bars do not lign up with the predrilled holes. You'll have to use some handyman experience to get it right, for it to fit properly, and for all the gaps to be covered, since the bars are not cut correctly. I am a little disappointed.
