Easy to install reed (like all reeds of the same style). A rather pretty anthracite gray (less dark than what I had already seen and I like it). But be careful when installing: you can easily break a small piece, because it is quite fragile. Once installed, I guess it will be fine, since it's attached. (I haven't finished installing the small clips.
