The design is quite nice, except for the control panel, which is wall-mounted, which spoils things a bit. Actually, the biggest drawback of this fan is the noise it makes. I installed it in a bedroom, and even at the lowest setting, it's almost impossible to sleep because it's so noisy. Too bad. PS I removed the protective grilles, and now it's much quieter... JMH
